I am once again overhauling SLV. This time it’s mostly cosmetic, but this is the sites new true home. Migrating the data from blog.case.edu was the easy part, now I have to redirect the traffic to this new location.
Things to look forward to: a true “portfolio” section. Yay!
I’m adding a new little feature to SuperLuminousVelocity, and it comes with bongos. That’s right, in true early 90’s chic style, I have decided to create a poetry corner section, so expect lots of haikus I wrote on the way to avoiding my homework.
Just testing out a cool little feature of the Last.FM site. It can generate a chart for me on the fly!
Last.FM is an online web community that has helped me to find loads of cool new music in a short time. I highly recommend checking it out.
Taking this guy’s lead, hunderds of people have turned their websites pink for the month of October to raise awareness for breast cancer. What, you didn’t know October was breast cancer awareness month? Fits perfectly right? When you think of October, you think of fall leaves piling gently on the ground, costume parties, and….breast cancer? Well I sure do, and it’s easy to do for such a good cause so I am adding my blog Superluminous Velocity to the hoardes of pinkened pages. That’s right, SLV has gone rose! Actually, it’s more of a screaming atomic fuscia. Technically speaking it is hex color ffcc99 out of the 216 color web safe pallet, but most of you don’t care about that. It’s bright bright pink with black counter colors and white positive space, I call this stylesheet “The pink and the black” pretty avant-garde eh?
Sidenote:According to the American Cancer Society, roughly 1,720 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. So watch out dudes.
Super luminous velocity has just been updated in the color scheme department. Actually, it’s not much of a department, more like a single closet where the color janitor works. He only come in about once a year when i get tired of the color scheme. ANYWAY… SLV has some sweet new colors, but if you want to view it in classic style, simply select “super luminous velocity 1″ from the ‘Page Style’ menu under views in firefox. Otherwise, you’re kinda SOL.

I’m bored of this look. I like how clean and efficient it is, but I am so tired of looking at the same thing, so expect some new and exciting updates to supe luminous velocity. Flash foreward…….
