o Multiverse Networks is a maker of a 3D Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) platform called “Multiverse”. At the time of my employ, they were working on a world to demonstrate the power of their platform called “Places”. Mission Control Software Engineering and User Interface Intern
o For my second NASA internship I worked for the Information Technology sector. X-Search group had built two separate massive search engines to help manage NASA’s enormous databases full of unregulated critical technical data. It was my job to reconcile the input and output differences of these two search engines, and wrap them in a new frontend that allowed them to function as a single seamless software entity.

o Integration between XML/AJAX with c#/Microsoft mySQL (multithreaded)
o Prototyping of conceptual user interfaces for improvement of Mission Controller efficiency
o Information-specific search strategy development

06/06 – 08/06 NASA, Mountain View California

Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Intern
o In order to test a concept on 4 dimensional function based flight control patterns, a physical proof of concept was in order. That proof of concept was a 13 foot wingspan remote control aircraft with an onboard QNIX computer controlling its flight. However, monitoring an aircraft up to 15 miles away is non-trivial. It was my task to conceptualize and build a system that would allow a remote observer to monitor and possibly intervene and control the aircraft.
